Home saunas, compared on what they actually cost you
The sticker price is only part of it. Some saunas plug into the wall; others need a $250–$900 electrician visit and a concrete pad. We put 50 home saunas side by side on price, wiring, warranty and running cost, and link every number to where it came from.

The one thing most buyers miss
Most indoor infrared saunas plug into a 120V outlet, though many need a dedicated 20A one and some bigger 3–4 person cabins need 240V. Almost every traditional sauna needs a 240V circuit put in by an electrician. Check your panel before you check prices, or let the cost calculator do it.
